Well Tyler Edward Burick had arrived on May 21, 2006. He is a buddle of joy. He weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 21 inches long. He has a lot of brown hair and his eyes are currently blue. We won't know his definite eye color until he is about 6 months old, but we have a good feeling that they will stay blue.
It's amazing what he has already accomplished since he has been born. S tarting the beginning of last week, he realized he has a hand and that the hand is attached to his body. He has already learned he has two arms, two legs and a tongue. He is constantly moves his tongue. He is starting to suck on his hand and is learning he can hold onto things with it. He is always smiling and giggling. Everyday we do a little bit of tummy time (lay him on his stomach to work on strengthen his arm and leg muscles). He is a very happy boy!
Joel and I are enjoying every minute with him. It's amazing what a little human being can do to you. You get so attached to them and you want to make sure you are doing everything right to make them happy.
